This page explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, why, and how you can control them. The short version: this site only uses cookies for analytics, and only after you say so.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — either for the duration of your session or for a set period afterwards.
There are two types of cookies on this site: necessary cookies that make the consent mechanism work, and analytics cookies that only run with your permission.
These cookies are set by Cookiebot to remember your cookie preferences. They do not track you and are not used for any marketing purpose. They are required for the consent system to function correctly.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CookieConsent | Cookiebot | Stores your cookie consent preferences so the banner doesn't reappear on every page | 1 year |
These cookies are only set if you click Accept on the cookie banner. They allow Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how long people stay, and where they come from. No personal data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors by assigning a randomly generated identifier | 2 years | |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state for Google Analytics 4 | 2 years | |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors — resets daily | 24 hours |
This site does not embed social media widgets, advertising networks, or any other third-party services that set their own cookies. Google Analytics is the only third-party service in use.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time in three ways:
Via the cookie banner — if it has already been dismissed, you can reopen your preferences by clicking the small cookie icon that appears at the bottom left of the page.
Via your browser — all major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. The relevant settings are usually under Privacy or Security in your browser preferences. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how websites function.
Via Google's opt-out tool — you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Withdrawing consent stops new analytics cookies being set. It does not delete cookies already placed on your device — to remove those, clear your browser's cookie storage for this site.
If the cookies in use change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. For a site of this nature, significant changes are unlikely.
